We are back!

So i know i have not posted forever, but the summer is slowing down so i decided to put some of Ems latest pictures up. A friend of mine that is Trav's friend's wife from work started to do pictures and asked if i would bring Emree up so she could do some pictures of her for her blog. I said sure of course who doesn't like to get pictures of their kids. So i am counting them for Emree's 18 month pic. She uses natural light and did an awesome job. She has two old ford truck that she has pulled up into her grain field and we did most of the pics there. It was so fun to do outside pictures for the first time. Emree loved it as always! She is a little poser! Not much has changed around here, life is going good. Trav is slowing down at work so we are seeing him a little more which is always nice. Emree is a little chatter box and tries to repeat everything i say. Her hair has went way blonde this summer and still curly crazy. She is so funny and keeps Travis and I laughing! I am struggling with getting the pic to upload so i will work on that tomorrow. Happy Birthday & Happy Easter

I am still trying to believe that i have a one year old. Everyone tells you it goes so fast, but it is true. My little girl is 1 and walking, and she is still pretty little. Her stats for her 1 yrs old are: 18.4 lbs and 28 in. She is going to have her moms height but that is all good, we love her just how she is. She loved her birthday it was full of fun. We had conference and she loves to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and we had an Easter egg hunt, and yummy food, and colored eggs (she napped during that it was easier), and lots of time with the family. I wasn't sure what she would do with the cake, but she loved it. Every time she grabbed it she would give me her hand and want me to wipe it clean. I never got it on camera, but when i asked her how old she was she would hold up one little finger, and then when we lit the candles she did this funny blowing thing, it was pretty cute. Ems clapped all day for herself and loved all the attention she was getting.



Grandpa filled some of the eggs and we love when he does that, so I made sure Emree found one of his. She loves these kids. It is so fun to watch her and Jospeh play together, they have their own little language and just follow each other around. The kids had a great time.


When we got back home on Monday we had another party with Trav's family. I decided to do something a little different. So we went to the REX and played in the Jump place. The kids loved it and so did us moms, we all were worn out and red in the face from playing so hard. The boys all ate pizza while we played. It was a great time. Ems just loves to jump and watch all the kids run around. She had a wonderful birthday and was spoiled by everyone.
These are just some random pictures of the past couple weeks that i love. What a girl she is so full of life and just loves new things and always smiling. She loves her babies and if she doesn't have it in the tub with her she is feeding it a bottle or patting it. Loves the dishwasher and is very helpful around the house. And lately she loves to have glasses or things on her head. Trav's mom has a crown that she loves to put on and walk around it is pretty classic. Anyways, enough about Emree, as you can tell we love her. Things are good with Trav and I we are just doing the usual he is getting excited for work to pick up and I am getting excited for warm weather. We are just so grateful for one another and all of our blessings that everyday brings.

Cruise and Snow

Where do i begin...the cruise was so nice and can't believe it is done and gone. We left the 25th from Miami FL and got back the 31st. It was great to enjoy some wonderful sun, food, entertainment, sleep, and all the rest. Yes, i did miss little Ems, but she had a great time as well as grandma's. She was spoiled by grandpa and spent everyday with the cousins and loved it. She is really bored with me and much louder now.

When we got back to Miami, we had a few hours until we flew out so we went and did an Everglades Tour. It was sweet! Yes we are holding a 4ft alligator.

Then when we got back here came the snow. It is crazy how much it has snowed in the last week. Ems still loves it outside, so we bundled her up and went for a little cruise on the snow machine. I was lovin it, i forgot ho

w much i love to snow mobile! Emree wasn't very sure about it, she liked it until i took off with out her. Even though the cruise was warm and beautiful, i still love Idaho and how beautiful it is when there is a

lot of fresh snow.

Family Pictures & Merry Christmas

Well once again, i am finally making some time to blog an update of our life. Things are going good. We are getting excited for Christmas, we are ready and can't wait. Emree keeps trying to unwrap the presents she can reach and loves to pull the red ornaments off the tree. She is so much fun i just want to freeze her at this stage. I love all the new tricks she is doing, like the newest one is singing "once there was a snowman" with me. She puts her hands high in the air and makes some loud noise for one whole breath. It is pretty funny. She loves to walk around the house with her little push walker thing. She gets going so fast and then rams the tree. She loves to feed herself and i am not sure if i like it or not it is such a mess but very entertaining to watch her do it. Emree loves watching tv, and gets so excited when she sees the little caterpiller from baby ein. come on the screen. The other night i rented UP and i turned it on and for the first ten minutes of the show she giggled and loved it so we laid her pillow done and we all snuggled up on the floor and watched the show it was pretty fun. She still loves her daddy, he has been pretty busy doing his parents house and with work, so we both love when we get to spend some time with him. Every morning and nap i wake up to daddadada, and wonder why am i the one getting her:) jk it is cute. My favorite is the clapping, she claps everytime i sing or dance or doing anything for her. She is my little cheerleader/biggest fan. As you can tell we love our little Ems and love watching her grow. It is crazy how fast it is flying by.

We finally got some family pictures done. Candis my cousin took them last weekend and they turned out pretty good considering that Emree was not very excited about it. She didn't like sitting on our laps and smiling she wanted to be all alone. As you can see she picked her nose for us and clapped through most of them because i was trying to make her smile and dancing behind Candis. It was a workout. It is crazy i look at the picture and think wow i can't believe this is my little family, pretty cool!

I better be done, we are on our way to go pick up Elder Derek Hanks( travs little brother) from the airport. He has been serving in Bolivia and we are so excited to see him!! Trav has been going crazy! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and happy holiday's. Remember the reason for the season, we are so grateful for our Savior and his birth and life. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be able to be with my cute little family forever. All because of this little baby that was born on this earth, lived and dead and now lives again i too can live forever with those that i love. Merry Christmas!!!

Pictures, Tylenol, Teeth, Halloween....fun fun

Ok so i have lots of random pictures to post. Emree is now 6 months old and weighing in at 14.5 lbs and 25.5 inches. Still a little peanut but the doc said she looks good and healthy. We went and got some pics of her and also her cute ducky costume. Here are a few of my favorites.

She thinks she is so funny in the costume everytime she has it on she just laughs. She now has 2 teeth and got her shots the other day and they usually don't bother her but either her teeth are driving her crazy or the shots, but i am about to go crazy. We just keep pumping the tylenol and motrin and watching lots of baby e. Last Saturday trav was suppose to go hunting and he had been gone all week out of town on work so he decided to stay home so if was so nice we just spent the whole day together and Emree loved it being with her dad and having somebody else besides me to play with. We went and did some Christmas shopping and then got dinner. So since we were going to town Trav wanted her to wear a cute going to town outfit. We called it the Grandma Sandra outfit because she loves black and white. She also is finally big enough to eat in her highchair, the tray goes almost to her neck, but she loves it. Everything gets really messy especially when she gets a hold of the spoon.

Ems loves being outside so i have been bundling her up and if we are lucky we will catch grandpa doug outside and he will take us for a Rhino ride. Emree loves it because buster (the dog) comes to. Well other than surviving the teeth we are doing good just playing and learning new things. Hope everyone has a great Halloween!!!

Getting so big!

Hello everyone...yes Emree and i are alive. So sorry for being so slow on posting, so i will do a quick update on everything. Jeri thanks to you i am finally posting more pics of my little cutie pie. She is so much fun and just full of energy and smiles. We have been busy reading stories and playing with her farm animals (they are her new favorite toy). We recently got to spend some time in the spud truck with grandma peggy and with daddy in the digger. She thought that was great she loves her daddy almost as much as her daddy loves her. I can't believe she is 6 months old. Her doc app is Tuesday and then i will post again her stats. I am curious to see how much she has grown. We are finally getting to wear some new outfits and it has been fun. I have been wondering if Emree is teething, but not sure since this is all new to me, and on Saturday I put my finger in ems mouth and felt something sharp and thought o my goodness that is a tooth. It has finally popped through and you can see it. So bottle feeding is going to be on my to do list. Some of her favorite things have also been sucking on her big toe and watching her baby einstein videos. She loves it. I but down a pillow and lay her down and as soon as the little caterpiller guy comes on the screen she gets excited. It is nice because i can leave her there and get dinner down or whatever i need to do with two hands. It is so funny because i will be in the other room and hear her laughing so i will come in to see what is so funny and it is usually a weird toy or funny puppet on the tv and her full attention is on that screen.

Trav still is busy with work and farming. He has had to go on lots of out of town trip to work on pumps, pivots, and whatever else and it is not fun we really miss him when he is gone, but the one good thing is it gives me an excuse to go to Malad and hang with the fam. It is nice to go and have all the cousins and grandma and grandpa to play with Emree. I have the funniest picture on my phone but not sure how to get it off, i walked in the kitchen the other day and my dad was holding emree and she has something in her hands and in her mouth and looks like a little chipmunk. My dad said she wanted an oreo. She was going to town on it and gave me that look like don't u take it away. My dad thinks she can eat anything and is always give her whatever she reaches for he is already spoiling her.

Well that is probably long and boring enough, but we are doing well and enjoying everyday. Winter is coming and i am trying to figure out how i am going to entertain ems all day inside, so if anyone wants to do play dates we are game. Hope all is well with all of you.

OK so i saw this on Lindsey's blog, and fell in love with this girls stuff. If i win i would love some of the adorable booties for emree ( not like she has enough shoes all ready) and a headband to share with little ems. Anyways and i am think i will definately need to order a bag for me for christmas. Kristy i love your work.
