Pictures

Ok so i was telling trav how annoyed i was with the blog because it wouldn't post pictures for me. Well like always he only heard half of what i said and thought that i said it won't post. So he was using the computer and thought he would be helpful and posted the last post. So that is why the pictures are on this one. I was grateful for his effort though. We have spent some time with Trav, Derf, and papa in the tractors doing grain harvest, and emree is in love with tractors and farming. She was out there helping Derf yesterday take a truck apart and would pick up all the washers and screws and follow him around handing them to him. She loves to be out there with the boys and throws a big fit when she doesn't get to stay. So today i told her when daddy gets back from hunting we will go get in the tractor and she ran and got her "cowbo" boots as she would say and was ready to go, it was pretty dang cute. I told Trav we need to get him a boy, because Ems loves the farm and trucks and hunting videos. He has trained her well, although i have to admit she does do a pretty good cow elk call. I also have had the opportunity (i guess is a good word...jk) to go out with Travis and Derek hunting. Trav got me all the gear and I am trying to be a supportive wife, but it actually is pretty fun. I love being out in the beautiful mountains and seeing all the animals. It is also really entertaining to listen to these boys, they really get into it. We live in such beautiful country!!!

We are back!

So i know i have not posted forever, but the summer is slowing down so i decided to put some of Ems latest pictures up. A friend of mine that is Trav's friend's wife from work started to do pictures and asked if i would bring Emree up so she could do some pictures of her for her blog. I said sure of course who doesn't like to get pictures of their kids. So i am counting them for Emree's 18 month pic. She uses natural light and did an awesome job. She has two old ford truck that she has pulled up into her grain field and we did most of the pics there. It was so fun to do outside pictures for the first time. Emree loved it as always! She is a little poser! Not much has changed around here, life is going good. Trav is slowing down at work so we are seeing him a little more which is always nice. Emree is a little chatter box and tries to repeat everything i say. Her hair has went way blonde this summer and still curly crazy. She is so funny and keeps Travis and I laughing! I am struggling with getting the pic to upload so i will work on that tomorrow. Time for bed, for now here is the ladies website if anyone is interested. http://www.reminiscebykimandrach.blogspot.com/

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary!!

I couldn't believe that we have really been married one year already. Trav and I decided to save some money and just do something close to home, and save and do a trip or whatever later. I just waited to see what he would plan and he was hoping i would do it of course. So we both went to work on Monday, July 21st, and when i got home he came in from the farm and said get ready we are going to eat. It was so fun we went up to Island Park (which is the same distance as going to Idaho Falls but much prettier) and ate dinner at the Trout Hunter. It was so good, we recommed it. Then Trav took me on a tour to see some of the cabins he helped wire this winter, which was good to finally see where all those late nights were spent. Then we took the Mesa Falls way home. What a beautiful night. The falls were so green and beautiful and the sunset was amazing over the farm fields and mountains. It was so nice to just spend some quality time together and not focusing on work or other stresses. The other pictures are of the day before. My mom bless her heart saved the top of our wedding cake and brought it up to us. So we popped open a little bubbly and enjoyed some of that yummy cake that we only got one bite of on our wedding day. It was so fun, and Trav was sick after, either because he ate so much or because it was a year old.
What a wonderful 1st year it has been. I love Trav so much more each day and look forward to celebrate many more years. And all those people that told us the 1st year was the hardest well i hope you are right, because if that is true then i look forward to the rest, because i loved every minute we have had together. Travis is so good to me, and works so hard at everything he does. Marriage has created in me a larger appreciation and understanding for our Heavenly Fathers love for us, because of the plan that he has created for us to be together forever. I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!
