As most of you know because Trav sent out a text minutes after we found out, we are having a sweet little girl in April. It was really neat to see the ultrasound and try and understand what body parts are what and how is that thing living inside me. Trav picked out that it was a girl before the doctor even said anything, and I still don't know if i ever saw or understood what i was looking for. We are just so grateful she is healthy and moving right along. It was funny the doctor measured everything and then said everything is still on with the due date except her legs, and i just laughed and said she has no hope i could have told ya she would be small. My mom came up from Malad to be there and it was great, she was so excited and even took me to Porters after to pick out some material. Trav has also been really cute about it and i think he has been more excited it was a girl then i was. Don't get me wrong i am grateful for a girl, but i thought he would want a little Trav Jr. first, but he told me that real men have girls first, so he is already a proud daddy. Anyways just wanted to share the new exciting news, and look forward to having this little angel in our family in April.
Also i wanted to post my beautiful Christmas tree and my favorite nativity that my mom gave me when i started school. Our tree
turned out wonderful, it is much smaller than last year, so i feel like it is a little overload with ornaments, but it is so fun to have up and bring the christmas spirit into our home. I think trav is already sick of christmas music because i love having it on. The Nativity
is my favorite thing to put up every year. My mom is a nativity freak and i miss putting up all of hers with her. It seems like it just adds a little more of a beautiful spirit to have Christ as a baby displayed in our home. I love the holidays and the events and spirit that are in full force. I always think because of this one holy night my light has been blessed forever and i am so grateful for my Savior and his birth!

Hailee & Trav
We love the tree it looks great! And your tree skirt is adorable too! I'm so grateful that you love nativities also, yes the baby Jesus is the main focus, good for you!! Love Mom and Beth
Congratulations on your little girl!!! I guess if real men have girls first does that mean that your twice the man you once were when you have two girls in a row? That's what Randy & I think. Trust me, I thought I wanted a boy first when I was pregnant with Katie Marie, but now I think I'd rather just have girls. Girls are sooo wonderful. Of course Randy does want at least one boy in there somewhere, but I don't think he would mind if we had several more girls.
Hailee, I am so excited for you and Travis. Girls are so much fun. Love your tree and nativity.

Guess what?... Your cute mom gave me the exact same nativity for my wedding. I have in sitting on my shelf right now... I love it, every family needs a nativity for Christmas.
your tree looks great and congrats on the girl!
The tree looks good! Congrats on the baby girl! I will have to get that babe something real nice!
Congrats on the girl! A novelty in the Hanks family! You will love having a girl first, they are such great helpers! Very exciting!!
Hailee, I am so excited for you! Knowing what gender our baby is has really helped us bond with the little guy even more, so I hope it's the same for you. I think that the little girl clothes are so adorable whenever I'm in the baby boys section I get a little jealous. Love the Christmas decorations!
AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! Now... if the time will just fly by, right? We are super happy for you! Your tree is gorgeous! I just let Meg and Conrad go for it on our tree- it gets reorganized daily- so enjoy the next few years that you have before you little girl takes part in the decorating! So happy for you! :)
Hailee and Trav,
Congrats on having a little girl. They are so fun and Dad's love to spoil them. Your tree is awesome. We finally got ours up and now it is starting to feel like Christmas. Have a Merry!
That's so fun you're having a girl. Everyone's been having boys lately, so it's good to hear someone's having a girl. Hope everything continues to go well.
Congrats on the girl! How fun!! I thought for sure Brig and I were having a girl, but I guess not. Seems like everyone is having boys. We need more girls so good job. *lol*
I'm so excited your having a girl! They are too much fun. However, I'm sure boys are great fun too, but I've not experienced that yet, so I'll let you know whenever we get there. So are you seriously considering the name Emyri? How would you spell it? Sometimes I wonder if we should have spelled it more simply, but oh well. What do you do: )
sorry it's me again...I just had a quick question for you. Throughout our time in the SW program did you ever hear of any really good marriage counselors in Rexburg? We were going to make a reference for someone and were just wondering if you knew of anyone especially good. Thanks Haylee! Have an awesome Christmas!
hailee!!!! i'm waiting for a new post! you were doing so good for a minute and now you're slacking!! we shoudl go to lunch again!
Ya that is BJ's roommate from college...crazy huh. I hope your pregnancy is going good so far. Can you believe its almost over?! I'm doing good. He is breached right now so most likely we will probably have to do a c-section, unless he flips, which is not likely. You really need to put up some new pictures on your blog so we can see how cute you look. Anyways good luck!!
Come on guys, give us an update and be sure to include some recent pictures!
Hailee you need to update your blog! I want to see your cute prego belly! Are you getting excited??
