Our big accomplishments

Ok so these big accomplishments of Trav's and I are not that great, but we were both proud of ourselves. I accomplished making yummy homemade wheat bread all by myself and Trav caught a fish. For Christmas Trav's parents gave us a nice wheat ginder, wheat, and all the supplies to make Peggy's yummy bread. I was excited but then made the mistake of telling Trav I couldn't make the bread unless i had a nice Bosch like his mom's. So my birthday rolls around and guess what i got. Yep, a nice Bosch to make bread in. Trav was so excited. When i was opening it he said, "This is the gift that keeps on giving. . . well for me." So I thought well i better learn how to do this i have no excuses now of why i can't. So i went over a few weeks ago and Peggy taught me how. I wrote down everything, because i really wanted to get it right. Then last week i attempted to do by myself. And it went really well, and the bread tasted great. I took some down to my family and they loved it. Trav was the most excited, he is a bread man and almost ate the whole loaf. They don't look as good as Peggy's do, but hopefully with a little practice i will get it down.
We went down to Malad last weekend for the last trip down without a baby (thats crazy). We had a great time just hanging out. While i went and got a pedicure (thanks heidi) Trav finally got to go ice fishing. He has been wanting to go, and Bridger is really into it, so they went up to Crowthers and Trav caught the biggest fish. Bridger was showing him how to do it and then said Trav lets try a new whole and Trav pulled up a 16 in rainbow. He was pretty proud and Bridger was mad that he let Trav take the new whole. They had a great time!

Good job with the bread. It looks yummy. Bosch's are really nice. It's funny how excited guys get over kitchen stuff. My husband actually asked for a griddle for Christmas one year. It was the thing he wanted the most. Our first year of marriage Randy gave me an orange juicer, because he knew that I liked fresh squeezed orange juice. I asked him, "so does this mean you are going to be squeezing fresh orange juice for me?" And yep he has. I don't think I've actally used it myself. Funny!!! I'm glad you are using your Bosch. I'm sure it will come in handy for lots of things. Also good catch on the fish Travis. I've only gone fishing once, but I loved it. And good luck both of you for your upcoming addition to your family. It's so worth every moment.

Hey Haylee- Seriously awesome job on the bread. It looks delicious. So how are you feeling? Completely uncomfortable yet? : ) Not too much longer though. You look so good....and I know when you're pregnant you don't believe anyone who says that, but really you look so cute pregnant. Thanks for sharing the belly pics. I hope this last little while goes awesome for you.

By the way, thanks for the text the other day. Sorry I didn't get back to you. We're doing great. Thanks for thinking of us. Oh, and don't worry about bringing us dinner, but a loaf of that killer bread would be sweet! I'm just kidding...don't bring us bread, but come visit any time. We'd love to have you.

p.s. sorry this is so stinkin' long. I'm not sure if you'll even check this by tomorrow or what you're plans are, but I'm hosting a Scensty party for my friend. They have some fun stuff and we'd love to have you come, but if you can't that's totally fine. Check out my blog for the info. if you're interested.

Thanks Haylee!
take care.

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary!!

I couldn't believe that we have really been married one year already. Trav and I decided to save some money and just do something close to home, and save and do a trip or whatever later. I just waited to see what he would plan and he was hoping i would do it of course. So we both went to work on Monday, July 21st, and when i got home he came in from the farm and said get ready we are going to eat. It was so fun we went up to Island Park (which is the same distance as going to Idaho Falls but much prettier) and ate dinner at the Trout Hunter. It was so good, we recommed it. Then Trav took me on a tour to see some of the cabins he helped wire this winter, which was good to finally see where all those late nights were spent. Then we took the Mesa Falls way home. What a beautiful night. The falls were so green and beautiful and the sunset was amazing over the farm fields and mountains. It was so nice to just spend some quality time together and not focusing on work or other stresses. The other pictures are of the day before. My mom bless her heart saved the top of our wedding cake and brought it up to us. So we popped open a little bubbly and enjoyed some of that yummy cake that we only got one bite of on our wedding day. It was so fun, and Trav was sick after, either because he ate so much or because it was a year old.
What a wonderful 1st year it has been. I love Trav so much more each day and look forward to celebrate many more years. And all those people that told us the 1st year was the hardest well i hope you are right, because if that is true then i look forward to the rest, because i loved every minute we have had together. Travis is so good to me, and works so hard at everything he does. Marriage has created in me a larger appreciation and understanding for our Heavenly Fathers love for us, because of the plan that he has created for us to be together forever. I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!
